Unexpected Inspiration For a Spring Headpiece

Can bridal inspiration come from The Henry Ford Museum? For designer Debra Moreland, it can!

When visiting the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan, Debra happened upon a visiting exhibit about Disney’s Into The Woods film. The exhibit featured several costumes from the film, and Debra was especially drawn to a tiara worn by Anna Kendrick.

The shapes and colors were dainty and playful, yet feminine. They were exactly what she had been looking for to accompany the new collection of Monique Lhuillier gowns that featured springy colorful florals. Many of Debra’s brides have been opting for this style of gown, so it was only right that she create accessories that perfectly complement the details of a floral dress.

The result: two headpieces and a pair of earrings that bring in the whimsical, fairy tale quality of the Into The Woods tiara, and the elegant quality of the Monique Lhuillier gowns. These pieces were a hit at Spring 2023 bridal markets with many salons placing orders to add these colorful pieces to their collection.

Not only do these pieces enhance a floral gown, they also add a beautiful pop of color to a minimalist white gown for a spring or summer wedding. Contact us to inquire about our “Spring” headpiece or “Appalachian Spring” earrings.
