Mother & Daughter Wedding Accessories, 32 Years Later

In 1991, a bride came to Debra looking for a vintage-inspired hat to wear for her wedding, Debra designed a lovely pillbox hat complete with lace and tulle gather attached to the back. Karen looked beautiful for her wedding, sporting a hat that was as show-stopping as it was timeless.

32 years later Karen brought her daughter Kate back to PARIS by Debra Moreland to create the bridal look of her dreams!⁠ She brought her pillbox hat to the styling session—still in amazing condition due to the quality materials and craftsmanship of the piece that allow our accessories to last for decades. Debra was even able to find her original order sheet for Karen’s hat which, though more weathered than the hat itself, shows Debra’s original design sketch.

It was an absolute honor being able to help Kate accessorize her bridal look and to reconnect with Karen over her heirloom bridal accessories.
