Meet The Designer: Debra Moreland

A fine artist by trade, Debra graduated from the Art Academy of Cincinnati and was creating window displays for Federated when she was first introduced to the world of bridal accessories design. What began by creating a fabric hair accessory for her sister-in-law's wedding, blossomed into an interest in bridal accessory design that led her to learn jewelry design, and develop her own techniques like metal millinery.

In addition to her personal collections, Debra has created private collections for many top bridal gown designers including Vera Wang, Anne Barge, Romona Keveza and Lazaro among others. Debra was named Accessory Designer of the Year by Wedding Dresses Magazine seven times out of the eight years the award was given. She is a visionary in the bridal accessories industry.

Debra lives in Cincinnati with her husband Neil. She loves spending time with her two daughters Hannah and Ruth, and her grandson, Jack. And of course we can't forget her beloved Boston Terrier, Button, who you can often hear snoring in the office at the PARIS studio in Cincinnati.
