How To Place A Veil Comb

Over years of styling brides, Debra Moreland has cultivated elements of her own style and honed the way she pairs pieces together. One of her signature processes is the way she places veils and hair combs. Many people may think that a hair accessory should go atop the veil comb, however, this can cause the hair piece to become lost in the most dense part of the veil.

When styling brides, Debra likes to place the veil comb at the crown of the head. This creates a longer line from head to toe, and allows a blusher to be worn over the face on a two-layer veil. Even if the veil covers the hair pieces, PARIS by Debra Moreland veils are incredibly sheer which allows the hair accessories to show through and sparkle under the veil.

This process also has an added benefit because it allows the bride to remove the veil for the reception, without having to touch her other hair accessories. That way, she’s ready to go and does not need to retouch her hair.
